Wow, just a week of classes and a week of finals, and that's it for Lehigh. I've been so busy with my thesis (among other things) that, until yesterday, it hadn't really hit me that my time at Lehigh is coming to an end soon. But at the end of the last improv show I'll ever do with Lehigh's group, the Hobo Army, there was a surprise: Since two of my roommates and myself are graduating (funny that it just happens that all the people who are leaving the group are living together), our last game was a series of scenes along the theme of, Where will we be in 5 years? It was a blast, and we definitely did some of our own scenes. But it was a poignant reminder of how different life will be in a few months, and it was the first time that I've been prompted in recent weeks to think about what I'll be leaving behind. At this point, I'm accustomed to accepting that life has to move on and that things have to change, but this will be the most dramatic change to have happened in the last 5 years. It's an exciting time but also a little sad, of course. I think graduation will be an especially emotional time. Unlike graduation last year, there will be a feeling of finality this time around. I can't really know how I'll react until graduation itself, but it'll definitely be memorable.
In the meantime, there's still a lot to be done before I'll be walking onto the commencement stage. A thesis to finish (only a little left to do, hopefully I'll complete it by Monday), several papers to write, a "war game" exercise for my Network Security class, etc. Busy busy busy, like usual. Wish me luck.

I know exactly how you feel about the graduation thing. I've been feeling a whole lot of mixed emotions over the upcoming end of my college career as well. On one hand, I'm glad to finally finish college and get started on bigger things, but on the other hand, I've grown rather comfortable here, people know me, and it's practically the only life I've known for the past half-decade. A bittersweet commencement, it will be...
