Since some of you aren't at Lehigh and can't see my latest endeavor, this is for you:
Yes, I'm terrible at posing for pictures. So far, I'm ok with how the hair's growing in, except that my chin gets pretty itchy from time to time. I hope that will lessen in time. Let me know if you have any suggestions to make. For example, should I keep the sideburns? I'm leaning towards "no."
What else have I been doing, besides making dramatic changes to my appearance? Mostly, I've been getting back into the swing of school. By Wednesday, I have to create a search engine, albeit not from scratch, so I suspect that will occupy all the time that I'm not using on frivolous activities, such as this post. :-P
I guess I should mention that I've been feeling a bit down lately, mainly because I'm in a very frustrating situation in my personal life. There's one woman that I can't seem to get out of my mind. While we have great conversations and enjoy each other's company, on deeper levels such as politics and hobbies (I don't think I'm giving too much away...), we're almost completely incompatible. I'm at a loss as to how to proceed, other than to try and find someone else. It's rather depressing.
Ah, that felt good to get off my chest. I hope that didn't come off as too emo. But other than that hiccup, I'm excited about this semester, even though I was expecting it to be more relaxing than it looks like it's going to be. Still, if I didn't work myself to the point of exhaustion, I'd feel like I was wasting my time, so I'm willing to live with that choice.
Oh, one more thing: last night, I saw a delightful Terry Gilliam film called The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. I think I had heard of it previously, but it was a completely unexpected find and imaginative in every way. Plus, there is a great cameo by Robin Williams that may be his most perfect role ever, and Uma Thurman is stunning in one of her first appearances in a film. Check it out if you get a chance.

On a side note, as much as I hate spiders, I loved that video post on facebook!
Oh yeah, I also meant to tell you that were right about G. Lucas working on Labrynth - he was co-producer. Don't see how I missed that one, but oh well...
Trivia points +1
